Christian the Lion
Lynn showed me this video yesterday. It's super duper touching i swear. Both of us cried when we watched the video. We cried everytime we watched it. Of course the music plays a part as well.
It's so sweet and touching... I love how the lion react when he saw them... Ok i think this is worth watching. You should watch it. So, please remember to turn on your speaker when you're watching :)..
"In 1969, two friends, John Rendall and Ace Berg, bought a lion cub from Harrod’s department store.
He eventually grew too big to be kept as a pet and was taken to Kenya, where he was rehabilitated into the wild by the “Lion Man”, George Adamson.
They were told by George, that he had not been seen for 9 months. Which means that Christian has fully adapted to life in the wild. They were told that Christian won’t remember the two men because it had been so long since he saw them last.
The night before John and Ace were to arrive at the camp out side the conservation area where Christian now lived, Christian, his lionesses and their cubs all showed up at the camp. Christian was waiting for John and Ace on top of a rock!
This video shows Ace and John meeting with Christian and you can actually see Christians face change when he sees his old friends, then he runs to them and embraces them. This video shows the human like emotions that a lion is capable of feeling. Apparently, after the video, the three friends hung out at camp until the middle of the night when Christian returned to his pride leaving Ace and John exhausted."

"Christian stared at us in a very intense way," says Rendall. "I knew his expressions and I could see he was interested. We called him and he stood up and started to walk towards us very slowly.
"Then, as if he had become convinced it was us, he ran towards us, threw himself on to us, knocked us over, knocked George over and hugged us, like he used to, with his paws on our shoulders.
"Everyone was crying. We were crying, George was crying, even the lion was nearly crying."
