Graduated

Sitting down and writing a blog post after so long. I kind of miss those days where everyone around you are also blogging about their daily life and photos. That's how you actually keep track of everyone's life now and then... But now, everything's different.

3 years in poly just passed like that. I'm thankful for the poly mates i met. Thankful for the class i'm in because given a choice, i would definitely choose the same class and clique to be in. It was fun! And i guess, we just grew together. I can definitely see the changes physically. Hahaha.

Memories we all shared.

Starting from orientation, facebook, twitter, instagram, whatsapp group, BOL, pon lessons together, mahjong, clementi, jurong, woodlands, IMM, playing carrom, doing projects together, library, studying for exams together, BBQ, USS, cycling, sentosa, airport, movies, karaoke, bowling, pool, cold stone, prawning, xbox/kinect, LAN, strictly pancakes, chilling by MBS/Esplanade, drinking, clubbing, potluck, presentations together, graduation night, graduation, birthdays, shopping, supper, driving out, working... Those were the days :)

I don't even think i did so much things with my secondary/primary school friends even when the friendship is longer. But of course i still feel closer with them, probably cos the group is smaller?
 
 
Two days ago, celebrating KC's belated birthday. Really had fun playing the games. Dancing and fighting game. Never ever had i laughed until my stomach ache or laugh until i wanna pee when i'm with them. Kinda ironic becos they are fun to be with yet i laughed till my stomachache more when i'm with my other friends. The most would be with Starhub people, and they are fun too! :)

Now we are all into university and work and army respectively. I hope new and better and happy life story will unfold for all of us. I can't help but to keep thinking about the future these days. Am i supposed to? I'm not even 20 afterall. But i guess everything from 20 on will be passing fast, and it feels like 20s is the time whereby most things happens. Afterall, you only get to live once. I hope i can stop being so shy and self conscious and start living it. Like, be myself, meet my boyfriend, meet everyone's half, start dating, going overseas, work and play hard, settle down, get married, attend friends' weddings, have babies, carry friends' babies. Awww. How awesome is that? Many a times, things don't go the way we want and expect so i guess just take one step at a time? No rush though i feel rushed!!

Also thinking about future career... I'm so tempted to try for SIA stewardess. I know it's not gonna be easy.... But... the thought of flying over different countries!!!! A good opportunity to be exposed to the world and learning independence? Though i will be scared i can't do it, scared of feeling inferior, etc. Oh wells but first lemme fix my skin. Urgh. 

And remember how i dreaded internship? I guess everything turned out well and i met even more new people in my life. :) All the inside rumours and jokes spreading like fire, hahaha.
 
 
It's the start of university now and things doesn't seem to be going my way but i shall just wait and see what's gonna happen? In 2 years time. I just hope things won't be too bad and hope that i can meet even more new people. Faith!! The courage to talk to one for the first time. Everyone's probably feeling the same way but i'm just afraid that some will mind.

Sometimes i feel sad for myself when i start comparing. Yet at the same time, when i think about what i have, i feel thankful. I wish human mind wasn't so complicated and we can all JUST DO IT.

Oh man, intern is starting on Monday! Not really looking forward to it since it's only some retailing. :( Doubt i'll learn anything much... Or i hope so? Think time for this 3-4 months is gonna crawl...

I've been feeling lazy for the last week of holiday, so spent most of the days at home and rewatching Family Outing! :) Awww.

Next, I'm already looking forward to next year! To the end of intern, where i'll have my collated pay. But i'm gonna be nervous for the final presentation!! CNY, angbaos. And when everyone is coming back from overseas! Like Elix, who went UK for study trip for 4 months. Nic and JJ who went Beijing for study trip(intern) for 3 months, and Hx who's gonna go US for study trip for 1month plus. So wanna go overseas after intern man... All these people flying are tempting meeee...

Have been wanting to start a healthy lifestyle! Fruit juice and supplements everyday. Ok la, fruit juice because my dad is so diligent to blend it for the family everyday. Somehow i just can't force myself to sleep early. One of the weeks, insomnia all the way! So horrible. Next!!!! I might just start jogging or going to the gym? Hahaha. It's not that i don't want to but i threw my sports shoes and i can't bear to buy a new one since it cost quite a bit... Aiya, shall see how. Might not go to the gym or jog afterall.

K that's about it... I had an awesome dream last night! More please.

Last term

Short holiday in June. Once again, worked for Starhub in the PC Show. It's quite sad that Sabrina and Joanna(in charge) quitted. That means i won't have any chance to work with them anymore. This time, Kaiwen, Melvin and Michelle didn't work as well. But there's Adelyn and 3 new guys, Sherwin, JK and Su. Not bad because they are very entertaining too! And they call me zombie at night cos i get so stone and tired and shag. Hahaha once i was so blur that i brought one norton antivirus prize to the toilet with me when i wanted to put at the counter first. LOL! Another time when they took my phone and i only realised it one hour later. I seriously thought some customer stole it cos it can be easily taken! :S Then, used to be free massaging service from Kaiwen and Sabrina and this time was Sherwin. My shoulders were really reallyyy stiff and hard. First time i ached so much for roadshows. Ok lah actually i shouldn't complain cos i get to sit. -_-

The momentum to work for anf is gone. When i got the feel to keep working, there is no shift for me, so it makes me lazy. Sigh! I don't know what am i doing. It's like i can find and replace shifts for people yet i don't want to find. I want to work yet i don't want to. Sometimes i am so motivated to work already but end up deciding not to find shift. Slap myself!

One last term in school before internship starts. I'm gonna miss the time spent with all! Anyws, BBQ at JJ's condo during the hols. All of us except Sok. We can never ever ever take a full group photo! Lol

Korea and Shanghai

Wanted to post about my Korea and Shanghai trip for the longest time. But, blogger layout changed and i'm so not used to it... Will post some photos which i didnt put on facebook! So... LET'S START!

DAY 1. So, for the first time, sat on a plane! On 5th April, 12am+ i think? About 6 hours flight to Shanghai first. Awkward sleeping positions on the plane. When we first came out to Shanghai's airport, it was freaking cold alrd! SHIOK! Anyw, went to the transfer area and waited for like another 4hrs to take another plane to Jeju Island! :) Was so shag. So, this was on the plane to Jeju Island. Met up with the tour guide as well as the tour people outside e airport! Pushed e cart of luggage with my dad to the open carpark. Braved through the wind and all, muahhaha. Most of my clothings were too thin for the weather there pls!




Dad eating and feeding us e food. Smoke from the food but doesn't feel hot when you put in your mouth! Cos of the cold weather. Hahaha i'm one happy sua ku here! :D Next, went to have a look at sea scenery. Guess at Jeju it's all about the sea? The sun was so striking. Kept laughing at this photo with my sis cos we couldn't decide if my eyes were open or close. Hahahaha! There's quite a few other photos like that too! The thought of wearing sunglass haven't strike me on the first day when i actually did brought one there... Looking super shag. I realised that lack of sleep really make one's lian se very bad! Just like i didnt get enough sleep this time, and when i didnt sleep for 34hrs during my grandpa's funeral, i look like that too.
 
Went to some shopping place for a short while before heading to the hotel to unpack. Bathed immediately cos i coudnt tahan my hair! Freaking flat! Felt more refreshing and better afterwards. :) No idea why my hair kept feeling static when i'm in Korea. Lol!
Gathered in the lobby and walked for a short distance at night to the dinner place. Hehe. My sis and i kept walking the last because we kept stopping to take photos, then got to run and catch up with the rest again. So tiring also. -_- Table of food! With dad, mum, da gu, gu zhang and Lynn. So, walked back to hotel after the dinner. SLEEEEEEEEEEEPz!

DAY 2. Breakfast! Look at my eyes, still half aslp. o_O Saaaakuuuuuraaaaaa. FAKE! Me with parents! HAHA LOOK! Lynn told me to take photo for them using her iphone. N her phone is mirror protector, plus the sun, i totally couldn't see whats on the screen. So i took for them and this came out. Just nice! Covering their face totally, hahahaha! I didnt even know it till Lynn told me.. Another time was when i'm helping Lynn to take photo of her, and i didnt even know it was on front camera. So i took a pict of myself instead... and gave it to her cos i didnt know. LOL! Until she told me once again, hahaha! 

  My hair looks so smooth hereee~ Right now i'm alr a bit tired, so i shall cut down on the captions. Fail lah fail. Lunch! Black pig uh i think... This is what happens when i don't listen to the tour guide talking, haha. Sea again! Here, the wind is so big! I almost got blown away! Hahhaha kidding. But the wind really pushes me quite a bit, the force is there! Before entering Teddy Bear Museum. Even the fruits are actually small little bears!
Oh yes! Then night, went to watch show, 'Fantastic' Okay not bad! Quite entertaining.

DAY 3. Oh gosh, i forgot when we flew from Jeju island to Seoul area. Cos if i'm not wrong, this is already at the more urban area? Alright don't care! Anyw i think this was otw to breakfast??????? Also went to the fish market. Which was another colder place too! I think about 6 deg that time. Plus the strong winddddd! And when we talk, smoke also come out from our mouth. Hahaaha so fun. Ok i don't think i should call it smoke. Mist? Water vapour? My gloves are USELESS! Totally can't warm my hand. Cos we didn't buy the leather type. We took those normal kinds we found at home. So there's still tiny holes....... Which is why my hands were freezing.
 
We even walked quite a distance from the fish market to the open carpark whr the bus was. So funny to see everyone freezing. Another place! So nice of one of e couple in e tour to lend us their leather gloves. :)
This is so funny. Lynn and i were laughing about it too. She was trying to take a photo for me and people just keep entering or leaving the stall. This time, just nice mum and relatives walked out tgt in a row and captured it. HAHAHA.
 
Dinner! Same day that night outside this place was like only 2deg! Inside was warm.
Btw, i like their rice. Nice :)
 
Back to hotel! Another hotel.
 
What we do at night at hotel. Lobby for their wifi! Out of so many hotels, only one hotel thr's wifi in the room. Most are only at lobby. :(

DAY 4! Climbing ard "snow mountain"? Another super duper wuper windy morning. Cos i wore 3 outer layers.... -_- On top of my black hoodie, i wore a grey button hoodie, and another grey thick jacket. HAHAHA. 2 hoodies inside the thick jacket. The tour guide saw me putting on and asked me why is it so pop at my back. LOL! And he helped me put the hoodies out, so good uh! Once he still asked me to eat more, say i'm so skinny. Hahahaha... yesssss......... i know.......... i know.. How how how, i look fat alrd right! :P Left for lunch and to another placeee. Look at my parents! Nicely wrapped too. HAHAHA! Wth! This day ended quite early cos we canceled the hot spring part!
#night #inthebus Goshhhh, we spend lots of hours in the bus! Some of the rides were like 2, 3 hrs? A lot are actually quite long rides. Sleep inside, eat inside, watched 200 pounds beauty inside, laughed a lot inside, looking outside for scenery, listening to the tour guide, etc. Hah i actually miss the bus too. Back to hotel! Another hotel again.

DAY 5. Made Kimchi, wore their traditional costume to take photos, lunch, went Everland(sth like USS) and played! Then, sat on small cruise/ship whatever, and then dinnerrrr!
Made Kimchi BBQ for lunch. Their meats are damn scary! Gave us so much plus it's sooo thick! Everyone to Everland! Yo! Parents :) INSIDE! At first i was quite bored cos my sis doesn't wanna ride on those rides. So we got to walk around looking at the animals. Quite cute luh some! But still, not really interested as compared to playing. :( Didn't even think of using my cam cos i can just anyhow take a few with Lynn's phone. Still, rode on this crazy wooden rollercoaster ride afterwards. Which can be compared to USS's Battlestar Galactica. Cos the very next day after i rode on the wooden rollercoaster as well as e USS cylon n human, the back of my neck aches when i look down. Hahahha nonetheless, FUN!!!!!!!!!! Luckily i managed to convince Lynn to ride w me! Then i also rode on this crazy spinning thing by myself. Woah, damn giddy pls. It just keeps spinning and tossing. Hahaha. So scared my boots will fall out. Lol!
Ice cream in e sunny weather! When i wore so thick, the weather is so sunny that it's a little warm. TSSSSK! One of the Everland staff. He just boarded our skyride as shun feng che to go up. Lol! Yeah yeah so after Everland, sat on this! Can see the tall building? Its the place whr Khuntoria lock those post-its message, for those who watch WGM. Tsk, too bad we didnt go thr... It was actually one of e places to visit. But cos everyone wanted shopping as well, so might as well change to shopping! Afterall it would be sad to leave the country without much buys right! Sunset A row of us~ Glad we chose to sit outside. :) Dinner Back to hotel. Once again another hotel, haha.

DAY 6~ Breakfast Shopping day! Guess too busy w shopping n visiting those specialty store thus the lack of photos. ;)

DAY 7, LAST DAY IN KOREA :'( And also first day in Shanghai. LAst breakfast in Korea for this trip. Shopping again! This time on e street.
Ice cream again~ Shiok. Went to some duty free store n bought stuffs again before heading to Incheon airport. Awww, so sad to part w tour guide. Whereas, the group of us are still gna stay tgt for Shanghai's trip as well! Except for one family of 4, who went back sg. Booooooooooo. Tried their burger. Okay, so flew to Shanghai once again! So, reached Shanghai at night! They say Shanghai is a beautiful city at night! With all the neon lights. Not bad luh this temple, haha..

 DAY 8.

  Lunch, with beer! Lots of ppl ride this kinda bicycle-motorcycle-like vehicle there! Foot reflexology Poor dogggg. :( Got to stand and walk all e way.
  Watched those kind of acrobatics show before arriving here. Raining night.

DAY 9 LAST DAY IN SHANGHAI. And also Lynn's birthday.

Fly back to singapore! Isn't this nice! The moment we stepped out from Changi airport, freaking warmmm.

ALRIGHT! THAT'S ALL! Enjoyed myself this trip! Enjoying life. A pity Elix couldn't come along w us... I'm loving the weather in the 2 countries. SPRING IS NICE! :) Wanna experience winter, autumn too! Traveling this time makes me wanna travel even more in the future. I wanna share even more stories n things that kept making us laugh, etc, but it's too tiring... I've already spent hours on this post! Just photos and short captions... Plus, the new blogger is annoying me! :( The spacings and enterings, so freaking messyyyyyyyyyy.  

And i realised i've been getting quite a few people saying "Good life!" or "Enjoy life!" to me for e past 2 months. Go USS, gd life. Go facial, gd life. Go overseas, gd life. Go kbox or movie only also, gd life. Lol, tsk!

Anyws! It was back to school 2 days after i came back to singapore!
